Why did this win first place?

Well I loved the pants for one....if I could like reach in the computer screen and grab those pants and make them mine, I would. But mostly, I liked the pose and the work on the wings. The pose sort of spoke to me like....sultry and seductive, yet definately able to hold her own. It was really good. The shading on the hair was amazing...I was like...WOW that is fuckin awesome. Also the boots...they are all pirate like...I'd steal them to. This is pretty much an exact capture of Sorwyn, except for the muzzle...but that is a minor and definately easily overlooked flaw

Why did this win second place?

Because...I fuckin Love it....everytime I look at it, I just go....Wow. The bodice makes me want to...reach in the screen and pull it out as well. Infact, if I could have the pants from the first place winner and the bodice from this one, I would be the happiest person in all of existance. The pants are pretty damn bitchin to.....And the pose....it speaks of being playful yet the sword is definately a show of seriousness. Also, I love the shading on the wings This is another REALLY good rendition of Sorwyn (And the artist did it with only letting me give him two descriptive words...I was impressed). She looks a little younger in this picture, but that is once again an easily over looked aspect.

This was one of the first entries, done a long time ago....and I fuckin loved it than, and I still do now. While the wings are a little smaller than I imagined them to be, the tricoloredness (Or Bicolordness o.O) is awesome....the Bodice is nifty with its two tonedness...infact, the whole picture is nifty.
